Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive – to join our team. The Project Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving booth sales for our exhibitions, generating revenue, and maximising opportunities for growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen interest in the exhibitions and event industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generation:
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities for our exhibitions, including selling exhibition booth space and sponsorships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilise a variety of sales techniques, including cold calling, networking, and client meetings, to generate leads and close sales.
  • Collect payments from clients in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to payment terms and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, consistently delivering high-quality results.
2. Client Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and offering ongoing support throughout the sales process.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to coordinate client requirements and ensure seamless execution of exhibitions.
3. Project Planning and Development:

  • Assist with on-site coordination, including managing vendor relationships, resolving logistical issues, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to address any logistical challenges and ensure the successful execution of the event.
5. Collaborative Teamwork:
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support overall business objectives and ensure the successful delivery of exhibitions.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions, contributing valuable insights and ideas to drive innovation and growth.
Requirement:
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience with a proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the events, exhibitions, or related industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales within the service or exhibition industry is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating visually stunning and effective graphics specifically tailored for exhibitions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to contribute their expertise to our projects and play a key role in the success of our exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Conceptualization:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Conceptualize and create visually captivating designs for exhibition booths, signage, banners, posters, flyers, and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure that all designs align with the overall theme, brand identity, and messaging of the exhibition.
2. Graphic Production:
  • Prepare print-ready and digital files for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Oversee the printing and production process, working closely with external vendors and printers to ensure high-quality output within deadlines.
3. Digital Design:
  • Create digital assets for online promotion, including website graphics, social media posts, email newsletters, and digital advertisements.
  • Optimise designs for various digital platforms and devices to ensure optimal user experience and engagement.
4. Branding and Visual Identity:
  • Maintain and uphold brand standards and visual identity guidelines across all exhibition materials and communications.
  • Provide creative input on brand development and visual identity strategies to enhance brand recognition and consistency.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales executives, and operations staff, to ensure alignment of design deliverables with project goals and client expectations.

Requirement:

  • Manage and update event websites and online listings.
  • Assist in the management of social media accounts and creation of social media calendars.
3. Client Communication:
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing timely updates.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and reports.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze data related to marketing campaigns and project performance.
